WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Rep. Peter A. DeFazio, D-Oregon, chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, issued the following statement on Jan. 9 in response to the Trump administration's decision on the regulations for the National Environmental Policy Act:
"When tackling new and critical infrastructure projects across the country, we need to consider the impacts to our environment. Pretending like our climate isn't changing is reckless and costly.
