WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on Treasury Department's decision to sanction South Sudan's first vice president:
"I support the decision made by the Treasury Department to sanction Taban Deng Gai, First Vice President of South Sudan.
