WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, issued the following statement:
Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY17/Rockland-Westchester), Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement in support of War Powers Resolution that would require the President to seek an Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) before entering into a war with Iran:
"One of Congress' most sacred constitutional duties is to make an educated, evidence-ba . . .
