WASHINGTON, Dec. 31 -- Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) announced Jasmine Cadotte, a sophomore at Kalaheo High School in Kailua, O'ahu, as the winner of the 2019 Congressional App Challenge for Hawaii's second congressional district. Cadotte developed an app called Fake News Detector, which uses artificial intelligence to sift through news stories on social media and analyzes the credibility of its sources.
