WASHINGTON, Dec. 29 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York, issued the following statement addressing the attack against the Jewish community in Monsey, New York:
"The attack last night on the Jewish community in Monsey is horrific and evil. Nothing could be more heinous than attacking worshippers gathered to celebrate their traditions, culture, and values. My heart breaks for the victims, and I am praying for them and their families in this terrible time.
