WASHINGTON, Dec. 30 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release:
The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its New York chapter (CAIR-NY) expressed solidarity with the Jewish community in that state and nationwide after five people were stabbed Saturday night at a rabbi's home during a Hanukkah celebration. Saturday's attack was the latest in a series of violent incidents targeting the New York Jewish community.
