WILKES-BARRE, Pennsylvania, Dec. 28 -- Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-Pennsylvania, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright (PA-08) announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $1,034,770 to the Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania (RHC), which is headquartered in Wilkes-Barre. The funds will be used to maintain RHC's current scope of health care services in its seven locations throughout the region.
