WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, said it will monitor decisions by newly-appointed Tennessee Board of Parole member Mae Beavers for anti-Muslim bias because of her history of Islamophobic statements.
