WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 -- Rep. Peter A. DeFazio, D-Oregon, chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, issued the following statement after Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg resigned after two crashes involving the Boeing 737 MAX:
