WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- Rep. Van Taylor, R-Texas, issued the following statement after voting against the legislation (H.Res. 755) impeaching President Trump for high crimes and misdemeanors:
"Since taking the majority in January, some House Democrats have set their sights on impeaching the President resulting in an incredibly partisan impeachment process with a predetermined outcome despite an ever-changing set of accusations.
