AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 20 -- The Texas Water Development Board issued the following news release:
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $7,000,000, consisting of a $6,975,000 loan and $25,000 in loan forgiveness, from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Brownsville (Cameron County). The City will use the assistance to finance construction costs associated with stormwater and drainage system improvements.
