WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 -- Rep. Bill Foster, D-Illinois, issued the following statement after the House voted to approve two articles of impeachment against President Trump:
"I voted in favor of both Articles of Impeachment because the facts clearly show that President Trump abused the power of his office for his personal political gain and willfully ignored subpoenas lawfully issued by Congress pursuant to the exercise of its constitutional power of impeachment.
