WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 -- Rep. Joseph Morelle, D-New York, issued the following statement on House passage of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement:
"After months of negotiations, I am grateful that we were able to reach bipartisan consensus on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement that ensures fair trade practices, implements critical protections for workers, eliminates giveaways to the pharmaceutical industry, and takes necessary steps to safeguard our environment.
