Free Press Action Praises Governor Cuomo's Plan for a Strong Net Neutrality Law in 2020

WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 -- The Free Press issued the following news release:

On Thursday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that he will introduce strong Net Neutrality legislation in 2020 to fill the vacuum left in late 2017 when the Trump FCC repealed its own historic open-internet protections and surrendered the agency's authority over broadband at the federal level.
