WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following floor statement after voting against the House Democrats articles of impeachment against President Trump:
"I rise today in strong opposition to the politically-driven articles of impeachment that have been brought before the House of Representatives today.
"For the last three years, Democrats have been unable to accept the voters' choice . . .
