WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 -- Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, issued the following statement after the House passed the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement:
"I had the opportunity to pass a newly renegotiated trade deal, better known as the United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA), that has the strongest enforcement mechanisms of any U.S. trade agreement, as well as critical victories for workers, lower prescription drug costs and environmental protections.
