Rep. Lowey Issues Statement on Senate Passage of FY 2020 Funding Bills

WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 -- Rep. Nita M. Lowey, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement after the Senate passed two legislative packages that comprise 12 fiscal 2020 funding bills:
"I am pleased that the Senate has cleared our fiscal year 2020 spending bills for the President's signature. Once enacted, these full-year bills will provide strong investments that grow our economy, strengthen communities, and secure our nation.
