KANSAS CITY, Missouri, Dec. 20 -- The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City issued the following news release:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City began a monthly release of the Kansas City Financial Stress Index (KCFSI) in August 2009. The index is a monthly measure of stress in the U.S. financial system based on 11 market variables.
