WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, chair of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement after her vote to impeach President Trump:
"The impeachment inquiry into President Trump has led to two conclusions: the president sought foreign assistance to influence the 2020 presidential election and went to great lengths to obstruct Congress during the investigations.
