WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyoming, chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement after the House voted to impeach President Trump:
"Democrats have been obsessed with impeaching President Trump since day one. Tonight, they cast one of the most divisive votes in American history.
"This political and partisan impeachment is rapidly losing public support.
