WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, issued the following statement after voting to impeach President Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress:
"There is no question that President Trump abused the enormous power of his office when he solicited foreign interference to help him in his re-election campaign in 2020."
