WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. John B. Larson, D-Connecticut, chairman of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security, issued the following statement applauding the House passage of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act (H.R. 1865), which included a $100 million increase for the Social Security Administration to strengthen front-line service delivery:
