WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Jim Langevin, D-Rhode Island, issued the following floor remarks in support of a resolution (H.Res. 755) to impeach President Trump:
"Madam Speaker, our nation was founded on certain principles. That government should be of, by, and for the people. That a system of three co-equal branches of government would provide the checks and balances necessary to ensure the people's voices are heard. That no one is above the law.
