WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-New York, issued the following statement regarding the House vote on impeachment of President Trump:
"As a Member of Congress who swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, I oppose impeachment of President Trump," said Congresswoman Stefanik.
"House Democrats failed to uphold their Constitutional duty and instead pursued a partisan impeachment process due to their visceral disdain for President Trum . . .
