WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, issued the following statement after voting on the Consolidated Appropriations Act for 2020 (H.R. 1158) and Further Consolidated Appropriations Act for 2020 (H.R. 1865):
"Congress did something we've seen very little of lately: compromise. Although I strongly disagree with the top-line spending, negotiators did a good job.
"Ultimately these bipartisan bills do a lot for our region by appropriating $22 million . . .
