WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following statement regarding the Consolidated Appropriations Act for 2020 (H.R. 1158) and Further Consolidated Appropriations Act for 2020 (H.R. 1865):
"I voted against the two spending bills brought before the House of Representatives.
"What you heard from many of my colleagues today is "what these bills provide" for the American people. Let me be clear: these bills do not provide anything. . . .
