WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, issued the following statement after voting in support of the bipartisan appropriations bills that will fund the government through Sept. 30, 2020:
"I am encouraged that leaders in both parties were able to come together and forge a bipartisan compromise to keep our government open and working for the American people.
"I'm proud that we made much-needed investments in election security, Head Start and child . . .
