WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, issued the following statement:
Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-Westchester/Rockland), Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, announced a new $15 million program to make federal funds available to help the Lower Hudson Valley deal with the economic burden of the Indian Point Energy Center's closure.
