WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- Rep. David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, issued the following statement after voting to approve two articles of impeachment in the House Judiciary Committee:
"President Donald J. Trump tried to cheat to win the 2020 election. The overwhelming evidence established that he used the awesome power of his office to coerce a foreign government to corrupt our elections by smearing his most feared politica . . .
