AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 5 -- Austin-Bergstrom International Airport issued the following news release:

Robust passenger numbers tied to the busy fall festival season set new records in October with 1,571,056 passengers traveling through Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the third busiest month in airport history. This was a 9.5% increase compared to October 2018. Overall for the year, passenger traffic is up 9.27%, with 14,419,259 travelers choosing to Fly Austin so far in 2019.
