WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following statement after the Senate passed the FUTURE Act, a bipartisan bill to authorize $255 million in annual funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions:
