WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- Rep. Filemon Vela, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Filemon Vela (D-TX) announced that the City of Harlingen, Texas will receive $1,121,329 in grant funds from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for a street drainage project. This grant will fund the 9th and 13th Streets Drainage Project - Phase 2, by upgrading the existing storm water drainage systems.
