WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 -- Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas, issued the following statement:
Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) announces she is joining the new bipartisan Venezuela Democracy Caucus. The current circumstances in Venezuela have led to more than 94% of people living in poverty, and more than 4 million Venezuelans fleeing the country. This bipartisan caucus works to support freedom for the Venezuelan people and advocates for an end to the abuses they are facing.
