WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following statements after the Senate confirmed T. Michael O'Connor as U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Texas:
"I am grateful for Sheriff Michael O'Connor's commitment to law enforcement and willingness to serve our nation and Texans in the Southern District as US Marshal," Sen. Cruz said.
