NEW YORK, Nov. 23 -- The Journal of Fluid Mechanics that says it covers theoretical, computational and experimental investigations of all aspects of the mechanics of fluids, published six research articles on the following topics in its Jan. 25, 2020 edition:

* Characteristics of the pressure fluctuations generated in turbulent boundary layers over rough surfaces

* Convection in a rapidly rotating cylindrical annulus with laterally varying boundary heat flux
