AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 22 -- The Texas Water Development Board issued the following news release:
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $78,780,000 for water and wastewater system projects. Of this funding, $3,500,000 was approved for rural projects.
* $500,000 to Palo Pinto County for wastewater system improvements
* $1,125,000 to the City of Athens (Henderson County) for water system improvements
