WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) voted in favor of H.R. 1309, the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act, a bill she co-sponsored, that requires the Department of Labor to address workplace violence in health care and social services. The bill passed the House with bipartisan support, 251 to 158.
