Today, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) helped pass the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act, a bipartisan bill that will combat the alarming rate of workplace violence facing healthcare workers, including nurses, nursing home professionals, emergency responders, medical assistants, and social workers. Rep. Maloney was a cosponsor of the bill.
