Following the passing of Staten Island activist, labor and community leader Verna Campbell, Congressman Max Rose gave a speech on the House floor today honoring her life and legacy. Ms. Campbell, who passed away on October 22nd, was a longtime labor leader with 1199 SEIU, fighting for labor rights and working diligently to give the African American community a stronger presence in politics.
