LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas, Nov. 20 -- The University of Arkansas's School of Medical Sciences issued the following news release:
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) broke ground today in a ceremony marking the start of a more than $150 million energy project, including a new $49 million electrical power plant. The project is being paid for by a bond issue approved this year by the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees.
