WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Alma S. Adams, D-North Carolina, issued the following statement after the House passed a Continuing Resolution to fund government operations until Dec. 20:
"Today, the House of Representatives approved legislation to keep government open for another month.
"In lieu of a comprehensive, long-term agreement, I voted yes to ensure that the government services North Carolinians depend on continue without delay."
