WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Roger Williams, R-Texas, issued the following statement after voting against the continuing resolution, or short-term spending bill, to fund the federal government:
"Rather than fulfilling our constitutional duty to fund the government by passing responsible legislation, we are once again continuing the cycle of wasteful spending in Washington at the expense of our national security.
