CHICAGO, Illinois, Nov. 19 -- The American Lung Association issued the following news release:
The American Lung Association honors its commitment to a world free of lung disease through funding a wide range of research, including lung cancer, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) pulmonary fibrosis and more. Today, the organization has announced an investment of $8.7 million, for a total of 73 awards, through the Airways Clinical Research Centers and Awards and Grant . . .
