WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Pete Olson, R-Texas, issued the following statement after voting against (H.R. 3055), the Democrats' Continuing Resolution for government spending:
"This 'new normal' of passing partisan spending bills and refusing to work with House Republicans or the Senate, which results in stop-gap spending measures, must end.
"Congress has a critical role to keep our government properly funded and operational.
