WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Marcia L. Fudge, D-Ohio, chairwoman of the House Agriculture subcommittee on Nutrition, Oversight and Department Operations, issued the following statement at a hearing to review the Agriculture Department's Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights:
