WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following statement after the House passed a continuing resolution:
"Today I went down to the House floor and objected to a House Rule being adopted by unanimous consent. This Rule would have set up consideration of the continuing resolution (CR) from Friday, Nov. 22 through December 20. Why did I object? I'm tired of the people of this body carrying out these 'swamp tactics.'
