WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, issued the following statement after police trapped students inside Hong Kong Polytechnic University during protests:
"Hong Kong's authorities have turned a place of higher learning into a place of violence by trapping student demonstrators on their own campus.
