WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Pete Olson, R-Texas, issued the following statement after voting against (H.R. 3702), a disaster recovery bill:
"The intent of this bill is laudable, and I respect my colleague Rep. Al Green for working to address current flaws in disaster recovery efforts.
"However, in its current form, this bill does not address key flaws in the current CDBG-DR program and would result in disparity in federal housing elevation standards, blocks t . . .
