WACO, Texas, Nov. 17 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
Morningside (Iowa) started the 2019 season at No. 1, and they are still No. 1 at the end of the regular season. The Mustangs scored 20 unanswered points in the third quarter of their Top 5 matchup against Northwestern (Iowa), overcoming a 13-10 deficit at halftime to win 37-27 and clinch their ninth straight Great Plains Athletic Conference title.
