NEW YORK, Nov. 16 -- Vital Strategies issued the following statement by President and CEO Jose Luis Castro on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report about falling smoking rates:
"Smoking in the United States has fallen to record low levels--to 13.7% of adults, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This continuous decline in smoking in the U.S. is thanks to proactive public health protections, enacted despite an unrepentant tobacco indu . . .
